eufy Error 19 — Laser sensor stuck
DIRECT ANSWER
COMMON CAUSES · RANKED
Dust on the laser ranging sensor MOST COMMON
The official fix for Error 19 is cleaning dust off the laser ranging sensor — a film over the window blinds it.
Debris blocking the turret's rotation
Grit in the housing or on the drive belt stops the turret spinning — eufy's guide says to verify the laser rotates properly.
LiDAR module failure RARE
If the laser neither lights nor spins after cleaning and a reset, the module needs service — eufy asks for a video when you contact support.
HOW TO FIX IT
Clean the LiDAR unit
Power off and wipe the laser sensor and its window with a dry cloth, then check the transmission and reception ports for debris.
Shake and vacuum out debris
Hold the robot upside down and shake gently, then vacuum dust from the LiDAR opening and clean particles off the drive belt.
Verify rotation and restart
Confirm the turret spins during start-up and the laser emits light, then start a clean.
Factory reset, then support
Hold the start and home buttons 10-15 seconds to reset; if Error 19 survives, send eufy support a video of the laser status.
