Roborock Error 6 — Side brush jammed
DIRECT ANSWER
COMMON CAUSES · RANKED
Hair wound under the brush MOST COMMON
Hair collects between the brush base and the robot body, out of sight until you remove the screw.
String or cable caught in the arms
Shoelaces, charging cables and curtain cords tangle in the three brush arms mid-clean.
Bent or damaged brush UNCOMMON
A brush with twisted arms drags against the body and stalls. Replacement is cheap and takes one screw.
HOW TO FIX IT
Unscrew the side brush
One Phillips screw holds it. Keep the screw somewhere safe.
Clean the shaft and housing
Pull off every strand of hair around the spindle and wipe the mount area.
Refit or replace
Screw the brush back on — or fit a new one if the arms are deformed — and restart.

Side brush — S series
Replace the side brush when the arms deform; a warped brush flicks debris away instead of inward.
