eufy Error 3 — Side brush stuck
DIRECT ANSWER
COMMON CAUSES · RANKED
Hair wrapped around the brush base MOST COMMON
Hair and thread wind between the three-arm brush and its post until the small motor can't turn it.
String or cable caught in the arms
Shoelaces, charging cables and rug fringes tangle in the spinning arms and stop them dead.
Brush deformed or worn out UNCOMMON
Bent arms drag against the floor and stall — eufy's own solution ends with fitting a replacement brush.
HOW TO FIX IT
Power off the robot
Switch the robot off and turn it over.
Clean the side brush
Remove hair and string wrapped around the brush and its post, cutting tight wraps with scissors, and wipe the mounting area.
Spin it by hand
The brush should rotate freely with light finger pressure before you restart the clean.
Replace the brush if it still jams
A deformed or worn side brush should be replaced — if a new brush still triggers Error 3, see Error S3 for the motor-side fault.
