eufy Error 13 — Robot tilted

Severity: Warning — robot refuses to start on what it reads as a sloped surface X8LR/L35

DIRECT ANSWER

Error 13 means the robot is tilted. Its gyroscope reads a slope at start-up. Put the robot on a flat, level surface and start the mission again from there.

COMMON CAUSES · RANKED

1

Started on a threshold or ramp MOST COMMON

Beginning a mission half on a door threshold or ramp gives the gyro a tilted first reading.

2

One wheel resting on an object

A toy or cable under one wheel is enough tilt to block the start.

3

Thick rug edge under the chassis

Starting on the edge of a deep-pile rug props one side of the robot up.

HOW TO FIX IT

No battery or electrical work involved in this fix.

Move the robot to level floor

Set it down on flat, hard floor away from thresholds, ramps and rug edges.

Start the clean again

Press start from the level position, or start from the charging base so every mission begins flat.

Contact support if it persists

An Error 13 on visibly flat floor is a gyro fault — quote your model to eufy support.
