Roomba Error 75 — Timed out without finding a wall
DIRECT ANSWER
COMMON CAUSES · RANKED
Caged by chair legs or furniture MOST COMMON
Under a dining table the robot circles endlessly without ever meeting a real wall.
Cluttered open area
Boxes and scattered objects can pen the robot into a wall-less pocket.
HOW TO FIX IT
Rescue the robot
Move it out of the confined pocket to open floor and press CLEAN.
Tuck in the chairs
Push dining chairs fully under the table before cleaning runs, or keep-out the area.
Reboot if it repeats in the open
Error 75 on a clear floor deserves a reboot and, failing that, a support call.
